When Maya Buchinskaya, an American-Swiss graphic designer and visual experimentator, discovered Silver Lake Love, she was inspired by our mission of helping those who were were not lucky in finding opportunities for work, a home, and hope.
Her compassion and love for those on the streets inspired her to action. With the love of those we serve as the muse for her creativity, she created an incredible limited edition design that has both creative and social impact.
Together with “The Custom Kids”, a hot children’s retailer in Newport Beach, we clothed over 40 of our friends in the Skid Row District of Downtown Los Angeles during our last “Make Someone Happy Hour”.
Designed by MayaBu and made by TheCustomKids is the latest synergy between trend setting design, and fashion with a social purpose.
